The U.S. government has a Combined Federal Campaign where employees of the federal government can select an approved not-for-profit agency like FTIA as the beneficiary of their donations. FTIA's number is 2780, so any federal employee who wants to participate can designate FTIA as the recipient of designated giving. As always, 100% of our donations are segregated and sent overseas. Once overseas, our staff oversee the actual use and distribution of the funds to ensure the moneys go for intended purposes. Even if you are not a federal employee, if someone in your family or one of your close friends works for the federal government, you can request that he/she/they designate FTIA for their donations. Please note that this number is only for federal employees and does not apply to state, county or municipal employees. Most United Way agencies across the country will also allow you to designate FTIA as the recipient of your United Way donations. We would certainly be honored if you would consider making FTIA the beneficiary of any workplace campaigns. |
