Dear Mr. Wallace and Staff,
We just wanted to thank you and everyone working at FTIA for everything you've done for us. I don't know if there are words to express the appreciation and gratitude we have for you and all that you do. Our life has changed in a way so beautiful I could never have imagined and we just want to let you know how grateful we are.
We returned home from China on February 10, 2005, and it has been a very big adjustment for us. We have now found our new routine and are finally feeling comfortable and confident in our new role as parents. Our greatest joy is seeing her standing in her crib with her beautiful smile greeting us first thing in the morning. Our baby far exceeds any expectations we may have had for our new daughter. She is so perfect and so perfect for us. We still stare at her in amazement and try to grasp the reality that she is really ours. This whole adoption process has given us a totally different perspective on so many things in life. Some of them we knew would happen but others came as a surprise. Because of our little girl, we now have a connection to a country that was once only some place we had read about. China is now a part of us and we didn't expect that, but welcome this into our lives with open arms.
We feel that your agency had a tremendous role in our adoption experience. From the beginning, we felt as though we were being taken care of by FTIA. As an adoptive parent, so much of the adoption process is in the hands of the agency and you have to rely on blind faith that they will work on your behalf and in your best interest. Our confidence in your agency never wavered throughout the entire process. We cannot express how truly impressed we have been with every aspect of our agency. We were impressed the most by your employees and in particular Nikki and our coordinator in China, Tracy. Their professionalism throughout was amazing. Nikki was always so efficient, prompt, and professional in everything she did. Her answers were always up front and right on target and we so appreciate that. She is wonderful.
While in China, Tracy was unbelievable. She attended to needs that we didn't even know we had. She is the reason we have such a positive connection with China. It was so apparent to us to see how motivated Tracy was to get those babies united with their new parents and it touched our hearts to see how much Tracy cared for every baby girl she helped place. We miss her and would love to see her again. Nikki and Tracy are both valuable assets to FTIA and we feel lucky to have had them working on our behalf.
We would be willing to participate in any way possible to help your agency. If you ever need a family for your informational seminars, please call on us. We would love to have the opportunity to let other people know how wonderful you are. In fact we have already referred another couple, Don and Andrea. We know they we be just as happy as we are with FTIA.
Just as soon as we are able we will start the process to adopt our second child from China and when we do we will call on you again.
Thank you so much again for everything you have done. We are the most happy family in the world and it was because of you!
Richard and Angie,
Proud parents of Emma Louise Chun Yue
