FTIA’s China program started as a result of FTIA’s founder and director, Keith M. Wallace, teaching law as a Foreign Expert at Peking University in 1990-1991. With a history in domestic adoption, Mr. Wallace began working in adoptions from China through his law practice, then established Children from China, now known as Families Thru International Adoption. FTIA has worked continuously in China since 1995 and has participated in many development and relief projects in China over the years.
