Grant and Loan Resources

Below are sources for grants and loans that could be helpful to families seeking to defray the cost of an international adoption. We are not affiliated with these organizations (with the exception of Old National Bank's Building Families program), but do want to provide these resources to our families.

If you are aware of any additional organizations or programs that provide financial assistance, please contact us so we can add the information to our list.


Building Families Adoption Loan Program

Families Thru International Adoption and Old National Bank have teamed together to provide to families the Building Families adoption loan program. For more information about this program, please visit your nearest Old National banking center or call Old National Bank at 1-800-731-BANK.

This program applies to families living in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Provides loans to families adopting internationally who qualify. Loans are limited to $7,000 for one child and $10,000 for two children over a period of 5 years. Please check for current interest rates. Last two years tax returns and a home study must be provided.

China Care Foundation provides loans, grants, and loan/grant combinations to families in need of financial aid.


Fifth Third Adoption Financing

Yesterday you dreamed about adopting a child. Today we can provide the means for you to fulfill that dream through the help of Families Thru International Adoption.
