Greetings from FTIA's East Coast Office

FTIA-New Jersey now has a social worker who is licensed to conduct home studies for New Jersey families. Mr. George Wilson is a licensed social worker with over 25 years of experience. George and his wife Dorothy adopted their daughter from China in 1997, with the help of FTIA. We are happy to have George join our staff in the New Jersey office.

We have also been busy working to obtain a license for the FTIA's New York Office. Baker Victory Services, in the Buffalo, New York area, has been very gracious in allowing FTIA to occupy an office in their building and they can also provide home study and post placement services to our New York families. However, we will continue to work with all qualified New York agencies providing home studies. The FTIA office is located at 780 Ridge Road, Room 303A, Lackawanna, New York.

Our Adoption Conference held on March 7, 2004, in New York City was very successful. Dr. Jane Aronson presented Developmental Issues in Children living in Orphanages. All who attended found the seminar to be very interesting and helpful in their adoption journey.
