International Adoption Workshops (Adoption Education Center of Greater Dayton)Educational workshops for families preparing to adopt internationally will be offered throughout the year. Workshop #1, including information regarding international adoption: orphanage care, child development, attachment and bonding, heritage and cultural issues, adjustment and transition, community resources, pre and post adoption items to consider, will be offered March 19 and May 21. Workshop #2 provides information for all adopting families: understanding the lifelong journey of adoption, core issues and talking about adoption, will be offered February 19 and April 16.
