Saturday, June 12, 2004, at Croton Point Park in New York, was an absolute beautiful day for a picnic. And what a picnic we had!

There were approximately 250 adults and children in attendance. We had the opportunity to meet many old friends who had adopted in previous years, and we met many families who are in the process of adoption face-to-face for the first time. Many of these "new" families we had only met over the phone or communicated with through email until the picnic. There were also several prospective adoptive families in attendance.

The food was outstanding, but the fun and fellowship were priceless. We had our first official baseball game and a lot of other activities for the children.

Thank you for everyone who joined us for that special day.

If you are on the east coast and did not attend this year's picnic, I hope you consider attending our picnic next year. The day will most likely be a Saturday in June and we will announce the exact date after the first of the year.
