I regularly attend bi-monthly meetings of the Kentucky Adoption Coalition.

KAC is a coalition of private adoption agencies in Kentucky. KAC membership includes agencies providing domestic and international adoptions, adoption home studies, pregnancy counseling and maternity services.

KAC members meet regularly to:

• Share and collaborate their work and the work of their agencies in the area of adoption;
• Inform one another of new developments and resources in adoption;
• Advocate on behalf of adoption and for the improvement of State Legislation and conditions for adoption in Kentucky;

I am also presenting seminars on "Grief and Attachment Issues in Adoption" to several local adoption agencies as an effort to support Kentucky adoption agencies in their goals to provide staff training.
