My name is George Wilson. I have been working with adoptive families since my wife, Dorothy, and I began our adoption journey to China in 1997. It now gives me great pleasure to join the FTIA staff to assist our families in New Jersey with home studies and post placement services. I attempt to make the adoption experience as pleasant as possible, having previously been through the process myself.
I received my bachelor's degree in History and Psychology, and Masters of Social Work degrees from Rutgers University. My wife, Dorothy, and I have worked in the Child Welfare Field for over thirty years. My wonderful wife and I have adopted our treasured daughter, Kaleigh, age seven, from China in 1999. We enjoy watching her grow and develop. Kaleigh truly made us a family. I now look forward to working with and helping our New Jersey families as they too begin their journey. I am proud to be associated with Families Thru International Adoption. |
