Preparation for FTIA's 2011 calendar is underway! Due to a lack of response, the deadline to accept photos for next year's calendar has been extended to August 15, 2010. This will be the last day we can submit photos for next year's calendar! Click here for more information about photo submission.
We are looking forward to creating a 2011 edition that once again features our beautiful children who have been united with their forever families. This project is one of the ways that we raise funds for humanitarian aid/development projects. Since the start of our annual calendar project in 2004, we have been able to raise over $81,000.00 to benefit children in need overseas. We hope you will continue to support this endeavor, but without your photos, we cannot continue.
Our calendar uses a photo collage design for each month to allow the maximum number of children to be included. Sample pages of the 2010 calendar can be viewed by clicking “here.”
Families whose children are home are encouraged to submit a photograph of your child to be considered for the 2011 Calendar. Since we are celebrating FTIA's 15th year in uniting children with families, we would love to gather as many photos as possible for the 2011 calendar - from children who have been home a short while to those who have been here for years!
The last day we will accept photo submissions for the 2011 calendar either by email or via the mail will be on August 15th. We have extended the deadline for photo submissions in order to gather as many photos as possible for the calendar. Our preference is to receive photos electronically but, if you are planning on mailing an actual photograph, please do not clip or staple them to avoid damage. Please send one (1) picture per child and a completed photo submission form for each photo. Group photos including children from more than one family are acceptable if photo submission forms are included for each child in the photo. If you have two or more children, you can choose to submit a group picture OR individual photos. If you send individual photos, each picture needs a photo submission form and each picture will be considered separately for inclusion. Keep in mind with group photos that we will only consider pictures of children.
Please note: These photos will NOT be returned!! By submitting the pictures, you are giving us permission to use them for additional promotional materials – of course without any identifying information.
