Dear Families Thru International Adoption,
Thank you! Our family is so complete! When we first started our adoption, we would have never dreamed how wonderful it would be. Emily had to have been hand picked by God because she is so perfect for all of us.
Let me start by saying our adoption expenses were very hard to come by. We re-mortgaged, had all the money in place, then our furnace went out and we had to replace that along with a lot of ductwork and our central air unit.
We
hunted for sponsors. Our employer sponsored salary workers, but not hourly, so
we contacted our credit union and they said yes they would. But, when it came
down to it—no way. We were devastated to say the least. So, we prayed and
prayed, worked a lot of overtime, and prayed some more. At the end, God sent us
an angel, my dad, to help—and now we have our little Emily.
I know we
probably drove you crazy with questions, but you always helped and were so
sweet. We have also become friends with two very nice couples who are forever in
our hearts and will truly always be our friends. Even though our trip was only
ten days, we feel like we've known them forever, and the emotional experience
you share with your traveling families is unexplainable.
