For each child listed below, placement will be made according to the adoption laws of the country of origin.


Asia

List #2 - #8 Boy
DOB: January 2003
Has had cleft lip & palate repaired as well as strabismus surgery, porencephaly cyst on left cerebrum which probably causes strabismus.
Climbs stairs on own and recites Tang poems.
List #2 - #9 Girl
DOB: March 2007
Post op for exstrophy of bladder at birth.
In foster care, described as gregarious and with a ready smile.
List #2 - #10 Boy
DOB: December 2004
No vision in right eye.
Likes picture books and watching TV.
List #2 - #11 Boy
DOB: July 2006
Surgery 12/06 for spinal meningocele of neck.
In foster family with normal development and loves bananas.
List #2 - #12 Boy
DOB: June 2000
Hep B, otherwise normal development.
Likes to perform in school.
List #2 - #13 Boy
DOB: August 2002
Had surgery for hypospadia at age 5 during which was brave and never cried.
Now healthy and strong as a tiger, a good athlete and helps his foster mom.

DOB: January 2007
Blind in both eyes, otherwise healthy.
Described as bright and adorable.

DOB: March 1999
Epilepsy controlled by medication. Normal EEG.
IQ tested at age 6 as below class average. In foster care, likes TV but dislikes math.

DOB: August 2003
Repaired lip, uncorrected palate.
In foster care and likes to play hide and seek.

DOB: July 2005
Hypodactylia of right hand.
Described as always happy and having a ready smile.

DOB: May 2002
Had surgery at 10 days old for meningocele, resulted in paralysis of lower limbs.
Uses wheelchair and takes care of herself. Likes drawing and reciting poems.
List #2 - #19 Boy
DOB: April 2002
Has some atrophy of legs which only makes him go slower but doesn’t hamper his ability or optimism.
Can go up and down stairs with no help.

DOB: September 2001
Repaired cleft lip and palate.
Likes to dress up to go to school and helps teach the younger children. Described as sensible and clever.
List #2 - #21 Boy
DOB: February 2003
Post surgery for cleft lip and palate, tested lower than normal IQ at age 5.
Is talkative and has a strong desire for knowledge. Will ask questions until he understands something.
List #2 - #22 Boy
DOB: March 2001
Albinism.
Does well in school and is good at drawing and painting. Likes to participate in school performances.
List #3 - #23 Boy
DOB: January 2004
Had hydrocephalic shunt at 10 months, since with normal physical and intellectual development.
Is cared for and loved by all around him.

DOB: February 2007
Hand & feet deformity (photos look like club feet), otherwise healthy.
Strives to excel and never gives up, a quiet and happy child.

DOB: February 2005
Repaired hernia and Hep B.
Was reported as behind in mental development at age 1 month, but at 2 was reported as communicating, walking, climbing stairs and in the HTS program.
List #3 - #27 Girl
DOB: June 2008
Received surgery when she was one month old to repair CHD. She is described as having a slower physical and mental development than the other children and there is an inconclusive CT scan of her brain that was done in November 2008.
She is said to eat and sleep well, is fond of listening to music and playing with a balloon or any outdoor activity.

DOB: June 2008
Missing fibula in right leg and one toe, slight lazy eye, otherwise normal development.
Loves taking showers and loves her foster mom.
List #3 - #29 Boy
DOB: January 2007
Skull CT shows underdeveloped medulla(suspected mild CP).
Has good physical movement and is energetic.
List #3 - #30 Boy
DOB: September 2005
Hypoevolutism but described as normal intelligence and physical development.
Cute boy who loves playing outside and cars.

DOB: January 1999
Was born without her left hand, but is otherwise healthy.
She was raised by a foster family for her first 6 years and then brought back to the orphanage to start attending school. She likes to dance, and is a happy child.

DOB: March 2007
CT from 10/08 shows high probability of encephalatrophy.
In foster care with good development and will clap and smile when she hears music.
List #3 - #33 Boy
DOB: July 2007
Cleft lip repaired 10/08, unrepaired palate, hemivertebrae at T11.
Normal development, described as energetic and extroverted, loves to play hide & seek.
List #3 - #34 Girl
DOB: August 2000
Amblyopia of both eyes, strabismus of left eye.
In foster care, but because of her poor eyesight, she only attended kindergarten. Helps her foster mom with housework and caring of her foster sister.
List #3 - #35 Boy
DOB: August 2004
Post-op hypospadias, diagnosed with mental undervelopment in 12/07 however in 4/08 reported with normal development in kindergarten.
Talkative and likes to play games.
List #3 - #36 Boy
DOB: August 2005
Left at hospital at age 2 with CHD, since repaired.
Loves singing and performing.
List #3 - #37 Girl
DOB: January 2004
Diagnosed with B-thalassemia and has to have blood transfusions every month.
She likes to play outside and loves to have her picture taken.
List #3 - #38 Girl
DOB: January 2004
Repaired CHD and tested low IQ at age 4.
She can take care of herself and foster family describes her as having a good and kind nature. Loves spicy foods.
List #3 - #39 Boy
DOB: October 2000
Left at 2 yrs old after having CHD surgery, but still needs another surgery.
With foster family since age 3, and is praised by his teachers. He loves to read and play games, but can’t play for a long time due to his heart.

DOB: December 2005
Syndactly of both hands and feet, not cooperative for IQ test.
Described as introverted and likes to play alone but can be obstinate at times.

List #4 - #42 Boy
DOB: January 2008
Extra finger on right hand, deformity of left auricle, described as quiet and introverted.
He is too young to tell if his hearing in the left ear is affected.
List #4 - #43 Boy
DOB: September 2004
Torticollis (tilted neck) & scoliosis surgeries done 2005, now healthy and in foster care.
Likes to laugh and play outside and described as extroverted and restless.
List #4 - #45 Girl
DOB: February 2001
Brought to orphanage 11/06. pigmentation on left side of face and eye, otherwise healthy with normal development and vision.
Clever, smart and likes to help others. Knows over 100 Chinese characters and uses sign language to communicate with a deaf friend.
List #4 - #46 Girl
DOB: March 2000
Hep B, brought to orphanage at age 8.
Gets up in the morning, does sports, eats breakfast and goes to school. Described as an intelligent, lovable girl. She is polite to people, respects teacher and elders and unites schoolmates.

DOB: August 2004
Spine Deformity.
In foster care, described as positive, active, bright, energetic and social. Can ride tricycle and go up and down stairs without any help.

DOB: March 2001
Cleft lip and palate, both repaired, and normal development.
goes to school, recites many Tang poems and is nicknamed the "young recite expert."

Eastern Europe

Boy (DOB November 2007)
He is a cute little guy with big eyes and a most charming smile. His birth mother was only 13 years old. He was born with the APGAR score of 6/7. He cannot sit by himself due to being diagnosed with infantile cerebral paralysis prevailing in low extremities. He can roll over and reach for toys and food, he can pass objects from hand to hand, play with toys and crawl to reach them. He is babbling, cooing and squealing. He smiles a lot and has a cute personality. He knows his caregivers and eagerly interacts with them. His overall development is considered normal.
Boy (DOB February 2005)
He has been in the baby home since July 2007 after being relinquished by his mother. He was born with APGAR score of 6/7 at term. Current diagnosis includes developmental delays and subclinical hypothyroidism for which he is receiving treatment in the baby home.

Central and South America

Female (DOB November 2003)
She is a happy little girl and is doing well in her schooling. She has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome and has an I.Q. score of 63.
